Hi! I’m Gianna Palanca (they/them).

I’m a San Francisco-based multidisciplinary artist grounded in both traditional and digital media. I recently graduated with a double major in Fine Arts and Design from the University of San Francisco. My practice spans painting, illustration, mural art, and graphic design, with a focus on bold color, intricate pattern, decoration, and narrative imagery.

I make art because it’s how I understand the world and connect with others, often creating pieces that blend humor with critique. I use absurdity and satire as a lens to process and communicate my experiences, particularly as a young artist navigating identity, culture, and place. Much of my work explores absurdity and satire as a way to reflect on identity, culture, and contemporary life.
