This work examines the First Amendment through the physical rearrangement of its language, treating the text not as a fixed statement but as something that can be fragmented, reordered, and reinterpreted. Printed over a newspaper, the amendment becomes entangled with the constant flow of information and public discourse, raising questions about who controls language, whose voices are given space, and how freedom of expression is shaped by the systems through which it is communicated. By disrupting the text's original structure, the work reflects the tension between the promise of free expression and the forces that continually attempt to organize, restrict, or redefine it.
